PAYMENT

South Africa

For chart products purchased within South Africa on the online shop on our website, customers have the option to pay by instant EFT and accepted Credit Cards.

International / Cross-border

For chart products purchased from outside of South Africa (International/cross-border sales) on the online shop on our website, customers have the option to pay ONLY for the chart product using accepted Credit Cards.

All shipping costs which would still need to be applied to the order will be charged for separately based on the supplied cross-border/international shipping address. Once the shipping costs have been calculated by FishTec, customers will be sent an invoice or payment link to make the additional payment for the shipping costs.

Orders will only be processed and shipped when full payment for the chart product AND the shipping costs have been received by FishTec.

Manual Sales

For international/cross-border chart sales and South African chart sales facilitated telephonically, via WhatsApp or email, FishTec only accept EFT / Direct Bank Transfer payments. Contact Us for a quotation/proforma invoice.

All website pricing is in ZAR.

VAT / SALES TAX

All pricing includes VAT at 15%.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Shipping and Delivery within South Africa

Shipping/carrier fees are charged for separately, whether Postnet to Postnet or Courier to a street address.

The time it takes to receive your parcel once dispatched with the carrier service is approximately 2 to 7 working days (public holidays and weekends excluded), depending on your carrier choice and the delivery destination.

Shipping and Delivery outside of South Africa

Cross-border shipping outside of South Africa will require that FishTec first obtain a quotation from a relevant carrier to your delivery address.  These costs will be applied to the quotation/proforma invoice.

The time it takes to receive your parcel will be dependent on the shipping/carrier service. This information will be provided to you along with your quotation/proforma invoice.

Any taxes or levies associated with the delivery of the parcel in the destination country will be for the receiver to pay.

Parcel Insurance

All parcels sent locally or internationally will be sent uninsured unless insurance against loss or damage in transit is requested when placing or confirming an order request with FishTec. Any insurance costs will be added to your invoice.

RETURNS

Due to the nature of the product, FishTec cannot accept any returns unless, within 7 days of receipt of the chart card, the customer reports to FishTec in writing that the chart card is not working as it should.

Please contact FishTec by email or use the contact form to report the issue and receive assistance to rule out potential user error.

Any suspected defective chart cards discovered within the 7-day allowance period may be returned to FishTec for testing at the customer’s cost.

Only in the case of chart cards that, once tested by FishTec, are confirmed defective and the defect has not been caused by user error, unit compatibility issues, negligence or improper use, may FishTec, at our discretion, elect to replace the chart card or, in some cases, offer a refund on the chart card.  Please also see our T & C’s
